the crypts Consider this a burial ground for all our inactive threads. You can find everything from the first IC post, to a forgotten OOC thread, in here.
square one To truly be a part of our realm, of course you've got to have a character or two of your own. Once you've read the scripts, post here with your beloved wolf's bio.
character logs Create a thread for all your characters in this board. Include anything from their loves to their enemies, history to their family - make your wolf interesting to read about!
mini-plots Have you got a plot of your own in mind for your character? Post it here, have a staff member accept it, and then others can fill out the positions you need.
sinopa Fox. This fair patch of land isn't a very unusual sight, yet it is famed for the uncanny way of being suitable for a fox. The tall grasses are effortless to weave any body through. Sinopa's many wonders are not for the eye to see though, for they lie underfoot, within large underground caverns and tunnels for times of secrecy and desperation.
hinto Blue. It would seem as if all the masses of streams, rivers, lakes, and ponds in the Packlands gathered here in this enormous, breath-taking lake. Named after it's deep cerulean color, it is a place of peace, and sometimes unexpected friendships.
iye Smoke. This once-beautiful forest wouldn't seem to be such a place of admiration, yet Iye, sometimes referred to as Smoky Forest, keeps it's awes of nature. Once a place of sacred gatherings and also wars, the forest was burnt down in a drought, and the sight of it now sends chills up ones back. Yet there are signs of new life - buds on trees, and the occasional wanderer within.
sanuye Red cloud at sundown. The low canyons are more like smooth granite-covered hills surrounding a small pond. There is nothing around this area that obstructs the view of the sky, and it is said that the red coloration of the canyons throw their colors into the clouds reflections upon the pond.
rowtag Fire. Although it's name refers to something that could be far more devastating, Rowtag is quite a peaceful place. The small clearing of apple trees creates a vision of red-speckled foliage, and the apples that litter the ground with their crimson colors are quite beautiful.
talutah Blood-red. Named after the great battle between Packs that took place here centuries ago, this raging river is anything but docile. Rushing through a forest that seems for the most part peaceful, it's lethal waters will pull anyone in who gets too close to the bank.
kolenya Coughing fish. The very same river that rushes so deadly through Torridpack's lands, this part of it is much more peaceful, flowing quietly through most of the Souselands. It's plentiful with fish, many of which fall at the paws of the wolves of this area.
malila Salmon swimming up stream. A very small waterfall stemming off of Kolenya's river, it's a very peaceful and almost romantic place to be. Filled with shrubbery and gleaming rocks, and the seasonal salmon swimming to their mating waters, the beautiful scenery is the perfect place to muse and rest.
sokanon Rain. This grove of weeping willows is rightfully named for their long, drooping vines of pale green leaves. Although the trees provide more shelter from rain than oppenness, if you observe the vines for quite a while, you'll realize that they do in fact look like the trees own tears. There are many stories of what the willows could be crying over.
nastas Curve like foxtail grass. These fields are bountiful with three to four feet grasses, ranging between a deep green to a cottonwood yellow. Rodents, such as mice and squirrel, and sometimes even a partridge or lone deer roam the waving grasses.
abeytu Green leaf. A clearing surrounded by evergreen trees, it's shape resembles a shape quite like a leaf. Many wolves come here to rest, or even for sanctuary, for the clearing is very hard to see from the outersides of the evergreens. A stellar, clear view of the sky also accomapnies this quiet abode.
ohanzee Dark shade. Quite a large patch of forest, the Ohanzee can be quite menacing to those who do not know its paths. One can easily get lost within it's shady depths. Full of crevices and dens, the forest is a great place for ambushes, birthing, or hunting.
liluye Singing hawk that soars. None know why this large, foliage-covered hill is named after a hawk. Speckled with coniferous trees, floweer bushes, a few gopher holes, and a good view of the sky, the hill is very high above the rest of Tempestpack's lands.
aponivi Where wind blows down gap. There are two canyons, red-colored and similar to the ones within Torridpack lands. Between them is about a dozen-foot gap, which is host to a very hostile, constant gust of wind. None have found out where this gust comes from, except from where it seems to come from - the earth.
mahpee Sky. Just a regular field covered in short-stemmed bluegrass (which isn't actually blue ) it's surrounded by scattered trees and has an excellent view of the sky. There are noticeable levels of plains in the field, at one point you'll be higher and the other you'll be lower. Slight breezes flow through the landscape, ruffling your fur as if you were a part of it.

In all species, no matter how gentle or aggressive, there is always an aptitude for "good vs. evil." But in this case, that contrast isn't quite as distinct. Power-hungry wolves are beginning to assert themselves, while others with different goals strive for change - changes that might not altogether bring trust back into the lives of the wolves of Darayn.
Sometimes, even the wolf Spirits can't cure the corrupt.

Due to the unusual, crackling heat of the summer and fall, Darayn has been blessed with one of the most gentle winters to be experienced. The ice upon the lakes is very thin, and the small creatures just aren't cold enough to hide in their dens. Frost is always upon the ground, and a snowfall is rare. The lands are covered in a wintery mist, making them sparkle with nature's beauty.
