As you all should know, FAQ stands for Frequently Asked Questions. This list will grow as we are asked more and more questions, obviously. But here are the answers to some of the questions that you may have. If your question isn't answered, feel free to post in the Cbox, or in the Heart to Heart board if you're a member!
Is liquid time allowed? » Liquid time is also known as being in two threads at once. It's allowed, as long as it doesn't get unbearable, hectic, or confusing.
There are facial markings and leg markings... are we able to have different colored fur? » As of right now, no. The different colored fur is too popular on about every other wolf RPG out there, and I'd like to keep something out of the ordinary... at least for a little while.
When do Guardians show up? » Your character's Guardian will show up randomly. You cannot plan a thread with your Guardian, they will come if they feel like they are needed or wanted. I play the -GUARDIANS- account, and I will make sure that each of you get to see your Guardian quite a bit.
Do you have a policy for the custom name colors? » You can buy a custom name with AP, which you earn by posting and participating in contests, etc. There's no strict policy on colors, but I do reserve the right to deny too-bright colors, or too vibrant. For instance, I wouldn't accept the rainbow as your custom name, it's just too out there. With that said, you still have tons of other colors to choose from.
Do alphas/betas get a patron time between fights? » Since telling time apart in IC gets a bit messed up, I'm going to limit it to 2 threads. What that means is that after one fight, they cannot be challenged again by anyone until they have gone through 2 more complete threads. This is called a patron time.
Can you give an example of the fighting system? » Of course I can. The challenger would start the thread, and post his first move(s). Then a staff member replies with the outcome. Then the defendant replies according to the outcome, then the staff member, etc. Here's a short, non-descriptive example.
Challenger: Smoky lunged for Rainy's throat, hoping to snap his teeth on Rainy's lifeline. Staff: Smoky missed Rainy's throat, but instead scraped Rainy's shoulder. Defendant: Rainy felt a slight pain in his shoulder, but that was nothing. He tried to trip Smoky. Staff: Rainy successfully tripped Smoky, but Smoky gets up quickly. Challenger, Staff, Defendant, Staff, etc
Where's the form to create a character? » There is none! I've added a code to the site that's actually very helpful. To create a character, simply click the "new thread", and the form will pop up for you! If it doesn't, please notify me right away.
What's the average life span of a wolf? » Well, most of the wolves on our site are between 2 and 7 years old. But wolves that live in the wild live averagely between the age of 9 and 14, and the highest record for a wild wolf is 18 years. Don't worry - you'll live a long time here, ;]
