They always say time changes things
He was intoxicating her, altering her senses and even her thoughts. The fact that he actually took up her offer was more than the patchy she-wolf could have expected. Her glowing sea-green eyes brightened considerably, then seemed to cloud as Zeedani's earthy scent flooded her as he stood up and scooted closer to her. Although she wished he had, indeed, gone just slightly nearer, part of her relished the respectful distance that he had put between them so inobstrusively. The warmth that cascaded off of his stormy soot gray and snowy white pelt momentarily dazed her as her heart seemed to bask in it, temporarily unable to speak, totally desensitized. A low growling escaped her maw, something the beautiful Mialeika had obtained from her dear father Damerae. It was the equivalent of a cat's purr, for a canine, that is. Her warm vermillion orbs closed, becoming half moons as the tip of her tail swished back and forth contentedly.
His rough, intriguing accent reached her pricked, attentive ears. Does it normally rain like this? She was becoming quite accustomed to his handsome, lilting vocals, and her ears were, by now, well able to transform his lulling words to normal speech. Opening her eyes to gaze intently at the sheets of large raindrops barreling the ground just beyond their bodies, she glanced up at the dark canopy of foliage above them. It seemed as if the storm could easily break through such fragile leaves, yet they remained dry, unbelievably. This weather kept her on her toes, constantly surprising and amazing her, sending her into bouts of awe and admiration. "I would not know, Zee. Me travels have not been in this area long enough..." Mia's voice seemed to trail off as a rather large clap of thunder reigned just outside their safe haven, followed instantly by a blinding flash of lightning. This phenomenon no longer made her multi-colored fur quiver in fear, but instead, she looked forward to each new experience that nature brought to her. "But it is so beautiful..." Her warm voice was soft, thick with the emotion that she suddenly felt. Her large, brilliant green eyes were wide with intrigue as she stared openly outside the shelter, and the wonder that was eminent within her orbs was as obvious as that of a pup daring to travel out of it's den - the only world it had known in it's short life - for the very first time.
Unexpectedly, Mia turned her dazzling eyes full of wonder and awe upon Zee, the full power of the life within them barreling into the sight of him. Leaping to her paws suddenly, Mia bounded over to his drying, sinewy body, and pounced, landing nimbly just centimeters away from his face... and she couldn't move. His warm, hypnotizing blue eyes had her rooted to the spot, and her muzzle parted just slightly as her gaze gained a new aspect to them - devotion.

~ The storm colored brute had to gulp down the slight mess of emotions that seemed to grow within him. It might have been just how Mia said it, or... just how it seemed so dear to her. His heart began to beat harder at the dedicated love for what was around her. Zee respected that, admired that... loved that. Kima held a similar trait, yet she was never as taken in by nature as Mia was seeming to be. He actually felt bashful and tongue tied for a moment, Blue gaze studying the femme as he tried to make sense of the low growl form before.
He has seen great cats do something familiar. Hearing a wolf do something similar, let alone a beautiful femme do so... Well, he felt rather warm now despite the breeze and his wet fur. All Zee could hear was his own heartbeat, something so very loud that it echoed in the cave's near endless depth. Yet, he had to gain control. Even as he closed his eyes and breath deeply. It was infatuation, as a wise would would say. Never would love sprout from a single meeting, yet. He was indeed drawn to this Mia more so then any other. Kima held his heart by travels and experiences. She gained it, Mia was stealing it from under his feet.
Not that he could complain. He would make no choice here until he search further north. Then, he would see where this would go...
That little control was taken from Zee in only a moment. It took his eyes a moment to register the fact that Mia has jumped up. His protective being panicking a moment as he was about to spring up and look for the threat. That was quelled though as Mia placed her muzzle only a breath's distance away. Zeedani could not think a moment as he locked onto the sea green orbs. Words caught in his throat as he saw the emotion that broke through. He saw it before... yet, It was too soon...
Regardless, Zee was not one to want to hurt anyone in anyway. His reaction was to cock his eyebrow. A grin slowly growing on his muzzle as he gazed into Mia's eyes. " Wha' beh dis 'ow? " His grin became sly, if not suggestive in some way. Regardless, he could not help it. He was a playful pup at the core. Social. So he kept the distance close, not wanting to be the first to make the gap widen. Blue gaze locking onto the sea green. Felt rather comforting and real, if not like it was something he was hoping for somewhere deep down. Honestly, Zeedani has not seen Kima in weeks, many weeks. He has been searching for so long now. Or so it seems, her death was nearly cemented in the lands. He did not want that, Yet Kima would not hate him for moving forward.
He would see where this would go...

They always say time changes things
It seemed as if thousands of moons, suns, and clouds had drifted across the sky without her notice as she finally blinked her wickedly bright vermilion hues, unhinging herself from the daze that Zeedani's presence brought upon her. She backed away slowly, the lingering passion in her eyes being replaced by uncertainty of herself. The devotion that had blazed out like the sun in the middle of an arctic winter must have been startling to the handsome, muscular male. But it was not... love... per say. It was more the realization of the string that had connected her heart to the simplicity of him just being there. And with that realization came the knowledge that if he left her now, she would be in the dark, even more so than when her father had faded away to join the Aetherworld. This was a fiery friendship that flowed through her veins, tinted with the passion and desire she longed for but had not felt the need to actual search for.
An apology ringing out vibrantly from her very being, Mia lowered her eyes awkwardly, pointedly ignoring the stormy brute's sly inquisition. She had gone too far for such a short time of being acquainted, and she was quite certain that he knew so as well. Ears drooping with guilt and unexplainable sorrow, she murmured softly, "That was not acceptable of me to do, Zeedani. Please accept me apologies....?" She let the tenderness in her tropically-accented vocals to trail off in a question, and as she did so, she turned the full force of her eyes - now blazing with the hope that he would easily forgive her - upon the coal gray and white male in front of her. She could not help it when the grin that was plastered upon his lovely facial features so genuinely to reach her heart, and the very edges of her lips curled up in the faintest trace of a smile, and her green eyes lightened considerably. Yet her paws still prickled with tension, as yet another clap of thunder roared overhead.
She felt as if, at the simple voicing of an acceptance of her pleads, her heart would fly, freed of the trouble and stress she had unnecessarily burdened herself with. She crouched slightly, unconsciously, as her shoulder muscles rippled with the anticipation of feeling independent once more. Her brilliant eyes stayed riveted upon his attractive form. How could one possibly hold such attraction for another at such an early stage of knowing one another? How could she feel so strongly for him, feel so defendant of his life, as if it were the most precious thing in the world? It could not be, not yet at least. But, as sure as the storm raging just outside a tail length, Mialeika just knew that it was coming. Her heart was simply being cocooned within his warmth as of right now - but with the certainty of a mother's love for her pups, she knew she would soon feel like a butterfly... but only with him by her side. She shook her head, stunned and disgusted at the way her mind was being intoxicated with foolish puppy love. Papa, show me what to do, she sent the short bit of prayer toward the sky, where she knew Damerae was hunting swiftly above her, with the rest of this Aetherpack that the wolves of these lands spoke of.

~ Zee's grin did not falter as Mia backed away in what would seem as shame and self-loathing. The storm colored brute could not love that little admission more. Mia just kept showing off her character as being kind and generous. She was able to know when she overstepped herself. That is something that Zee cherished in others. Her apology hit his ears with a tune. Only broadening his grin.
Picking himself up slightly, Zee nudged Mia. Tail swaying at a low arc as he put what strength he had in the nudge. Possibly throwing Mia over playfully. " Der beh no'hin tah be 'orry fer. " He voiced as he fell back down. Chuckling his deep vibrating chuckle. One that seemed to engulf his core and ricochet across even this little cave. He knew that Mia had something for him, it was displayed in her stance. In how she seemed to eye him every now and then. He could possibly guess that she was rather conflicted by his own little aloofness.
It was intoxicating really, old wolves used to tell him that when two were meant to be together. That they would click, no broader experience was needed. That they worked together instinctively and the daily life only cemented that truth. Mia was starting to fit that description, Yet, Zee could not decide anything on only this day.
Still, the Gray brute beckoned the femme over. He was getting slightly tired, and it would possibly be good for both of them should they sleep through it. Rains like this were rare. Yet, nature always loved bragging about her strength. Besides that, it was getting colder. " 'ome 'ome... Ith 'nly ge' 'older now. Wouldn' likeh 'yself ih 'eah ah 'hiverin der by yerself. " The brute voiced with his foolish grin. Honestly not able to deal with himself if he caused this or any other wolf discomfort when he could prevent it. Yet, it was slightly a ruse... for he honestly liked the comfortable heat that seeped over to his coat only a moment ago.
He was just being selfish now. Mental sigh, he was going to have to pick things up when they could leave. There was much to experience.

They always say time changes things
Boundaries. They had never been present within the untidy yet beautiful coated hybrid wolf's life. Yet, she found herself crossing uncharted waters, each multi-colored hair staticked and on end as her anticipation mingled with excitement for this particular unknown entity that had entered her life. Excitement for the unknown, because it held happiness, and lopsided grins. Excitement for the unknown, because there was a certainty that flowed through her very veins that the male with the sky tinted eyes was part of it. And somehow that made it all okay.
His moist nose was gentle, but extraordinarily firm, as it pressed forcefully against her. Instead of defying the laws of gravity, Mialeika let herself become propelled by it, and landed with a soft huff in the sodden grasses that had been solidly beneath her paws moments before. Perhaps if she had been pure gray wolf, such as her father, she could have withstood Zeedani's playful nudge easily. But instead, the green-eyed beauty found herself teasingly cursing her mother's small size, even though she had never met her mother. Little did she know Irie was actually her Guardian. They just had not met yet. Honing all her attention in upon the stormy brute, whom had nonchalantly fallen back himself to become comfortable once more on the ground, Mia's ears pricked even more than they already had been as his welcoming, suggestive words registered within her quick and nimble mind. Come, come... Although his enticingly rough accent coursed through her entire body, she could no longer understand exactly what he was saying. This impossibly handsome, lively, and interesting male had just offered her a chance to lay by him! To feel his warmth caress her fur and send her into the most calming of dreams, to feel his breath stir her very soul.
Mia had never been put in this position before. Sure, she had crossed other males, all of whom had been extremely intrigued by her exotic appearance, but her playfulness and friendliness had quickly come off to them as eager, and she had run before getting a chance to become close to one of the hormone-riddled brutes. Letting out a small whimper that seemed to mirror every thought that was racing through her mind, vermilion hues filled with uncertainty and boundless trust, she inched herself forward on her paws, until his storm-colored fur and her many shades of brown caressed each other. And everything, everything in her life, changed with that simple touch. A calm came over her that she had never known before, and she let out an exhausted, passionate sigh as she lay her white-laced, dainty head upon her paws. Without thinking, she pressed her body even closer to his own, until she could feel his sinewy muscles within him. She had never felt so safe, so secure, and so happy.
An unexpected and unexperienced feeling raced through her, catching fire to every morsel of her body. Her paws, ears, tail, even her eyelashes seemed as if they suddenly had ten thousand volts of electricity wired into them - all directed toward the treasured warmth next to her. Her eyes taking on a much more soft feel, she gazed upon him, cherishing the fact that she had met him, out of all the wolves of their kind in this strange world she had stumbled upon. "Thank you," she murmured, and with that, a full out smile touched her lips, playing with her features in unknown ways that even she knew naught what expression her facial features had taken on.

~ It was something he had known since before he could remember. Even in his span of life. The stormy brute was a Loner, a Nomad in these lands. Yet, he almost always had a companion on his journeys. For life and nature were just that more exciting when shared with another. As far as he could remember he had someone next to him. When Mia accepted his offer and inched closer. Zee could see the hesitation and the expression of being unsure. He was about to urge her that it would be an alright understanding if she did not wish to. He was not a brute to force any into anything. It was her choice on what she wanted to do. Not his.
Yet, She took the offer and closed the gab between their beating hearts. The cascade of warmth that overcame Zee's body was more than he expected, even with Kima... He has not experienced this. He was rather choked, the sensation becoming more thrilling as he noticed Mia actually press herself closer to him. He was burning comfortable inside, and he felt warmer than what should be normal. Sadly, the sensation dulled down to a comfortable flare as Mia's thank you reached his ears. Looking down at the femme, Zee could only smile. " No' ah 'roblem, Mia. " He voiced, hoping that the tone of cracked composure did not become to noticeable. He was returning to being a pup of two years, stumbling over himself in the presence of femme.
Yet, He mimicked Mia in the slightest, his bulkier head was on the ground, closer to Mia that he attempted. Paws crossed as he inhaled deeply and let it go. Eyes closing a moment as he pondered on what has happened. SO far he has been wandering aimlessly, feeling rather abandoned and alone. Despite nature and how it made him grin. Then he came upon this... astonishing femme that had seemed to take a liking to him. ( Faster than he knew possible... which is unnerving. Still, Everyone was different.) Which he returned a short like for. That would grow most likely. Yet, right now...
Her presence was infectious as he felt comfortable in such a long time. Falling into a light sleep. Knowing that dreams would be the last of his worries or activities. Since honestly, he rarely dreamed when he was fully content with that was going on around him. Who was besides him.
