Dear Rifted,
I do not plan on going inactive anytime soon. In fact, I hope to be a part of the site for a long time from now.
HOWEVER, in case it happens, I request my characters NOT be put up for adoption. My characters are a part of me, and I feel it is an insult to see my characters, derived from my person, to see other people willing to adopt them. It's like...Child Services taking my children away.
*lol*.
I hate to bring it up now, but it's happened...My character was given away 'due to inactiveness'. I argued. They said, 'read the rules'. I say, 'I just did, nothing in the rules say anything about ACTIVITY NAZI'S taking my characters and giving them away to people who do not deserve to play them' So they added it to their rules...
Anywho, thanks for reading. ;D

God do I know your pain. xD
It is rather...idiotic of sites to be like "Mmkay, so and so's gone, who wants their characters?"
Just delete them off the site or leave their bio floating wherever. No need to steal another person's ideas and concepts. It can especially lead to problems when the inactive member goes to another site and uses the bio they used for their previous site. A member of the previous site might notice this and be like "OMFG! YOU STOLE THEIR CHARACTER!" and oh would that lead to drama... especially since that character was the person's all along.
Anyway... It was smart of you to add that note. Very smart when you're combatting those nasty charrie-revoking places.
