Parlae yawned as she stretched her limbs, her one golden orb remaining closed. She had slunk off to sleep by herself something she often did. Things were a little more confusing this morning as she debated whether or not what had happened was a dream, or a reality. Had her hormones really gotten the best of her? No, not her, she could control herself, she was stronger than that. Yet her nose could not deny that she smelled an unusual amount of him on her. Sure she had smelt her back mates on her every once in a while, but no way nearly as strong as the white wolf's scent was now. With that, the one eyed beauty growled at herself... damnit. She really had allowed herself to seduce him, she honestly was ashamed of herself in that moment. With a low grunt, she finally peeled back her dark lids, revealing one hollow socket and a bright golden orb. She got to her feet, still groaning to herself, as she stretched. Her rump rising high in the air, before being lowered to a sitting position. Parlae was currently sitting on a long rock by the falls, her picture less that serene. The dark hued femme did not belong in this scene, she was not graceful like the water, or beautiful like the falls. No she was dark colored, missing an eye, and had a short, almost bob like tail. To any wolf who had not met her, she would be rather intimidating to the eye.
However, under this rough warrior exterior lied a gentle soul. Sure she had her moments were she was less than kind, but those were situational, and not the norm. With a cautious look around Parlae began to groom herself. One because it was a morning ritual, and two she wanted his scent off her. Parlae wanted to forget what she had done, wash her sin away. She groomed faster her tongue becoming somewhat raw from how hard she was attempting to scrub herself clean. Apparently hormones and a male was a weakness for her. She had never allowed herself to be bred before, and well the feeling was somewhat unnerving to the younger minx. With a tired sigh she gave it up. Her effort had only caused her exhaustion, and a raw tongue. His scent was still there, but thank the spirits not that strong. Just then her auds picked up a rustilng in the bushes to her left. She jumped upon her pistons, her nails digging into the rock as her eye locked on the bush.

With a yip of surprise a dark wolf landed face-first on the other side of the bush, his legs in an embarrassing and rather painful looking tangle. With a little whimper the wolf began to untangle himself, but not before flopping over onto his side, a thin layer of dust lightening his almost pure black pelt.
Growling to himself he finally stumbled to his feet, giving his now rumpled and messy fur a shake as well as his head, which was now giving off a painful throb. Ouch. Snorting he looked around, almost missing the tense form near the waterfall, perched on a rock, a dark smudge against the light landscape. With a yelp of fright he spun around to face this other form, his tail instantly going into its regular positions between his hind legs.
Then, he realized that he knew this wolf. What's her face.. er.. Par... Parlae? Yeah that's it! She was the one Haze has been after, that much was apparent. Raelen shivered, to him, she looked rather... scary. Not that she wasn't pretty or anything! She was just a bit intimidating is all. But then again, to this little yellow-belly, who wasn't intimidating?
"U-hu.... Hi... sorry if I er disturbed you P-Parlae. I didn't realize that you were uh.. what are you doing anyway?" Raelen asked, tilting his head to the side and fixing her with his pale, lemony orbs.

Parlae had become slightly aggressive at the sign of the other male, mostly a natural reaction due to her heat. Though once she saw his black banner go between his legs, she relaxed giving a coy smile. The male was a member of Souse, and she had laid eyes on him on a couple occasions. She always found him rather amusing mostly because he was so damn nervous. The wolf seemed to struggle with his confidence and this made her take an interest in the younger male. Perhaps he need guidance, and well if he so liked, Parlae would mentor him. Parlae had been a warrior for a couple years, and well fighting she considered neccessary to protect oneself. As her one golden orb scanned the brute she couldnt help but to notice how unnerved he was by her presence. This made her grin a little, for she had to admit she wasnt what one was used to seeing. She lept from her rock with grace landing about two feet from him. "Do I unnerve you Raelen?" she asked her words dripping with a smooth ear appealing tone. The minx was sly and it was wise not to trust her completly. She kept one on their toes with ease, and was always thinking one step ahead.
When he finally spoke, he seemed to stutter her name. She had never come across a brute who was so unsettled. When he apologized for distrurbing her, she smirked, and nodded her crania lightly. When he asked what she had been doing, she gaze him a confused look. Why was it any concern what she was doing? It wasnt like she was going to admit to making her tongue raw trying to get Haze's scent off her. That was their business, and no one was to know of what had happened the previous day. Parlae had not intention of letting on, or letting it slide. "Sleeping." she replied simply.

Raelen swallowed once he spotted her moving on the rock. Oh no.. He yelped with surprise when she dropped in front of him with a smooth and flawless grace only she could possibly accomplish. He scooted back away from her, not too keen on having the faintest hint of her scent on him, even if it was a little breezy. His tail had refused to move from its hiding place beneath him, tickling his gut a little bit and making the stone-dead feeling in his stomach flutter and squirm.
"Do I unnerve you Raelen?"
Her voice would have his insides melt if he wasn't so damn scared of her, but unfortunately that was the case here. His throat felt bone-dry and he swore his legs were shaking. Who's idea was it to let him be a hunter again?
"A... a little." He admitted, a flush of heat rushing to his face at the embarrassment that coupled along with his words. The black wolf felt like he was digging his own grave and she was burying him alive in it. He backed up a few paces again.
"Sleeping."
Seemed like a good enough answer for him. But there was something... off about her. Something he couldn't quite place it. She smelt kind of funny actually. Eh. Oh well. She smelt like she wanted to smell like. Simple as that.
"O-oh. Sorry if I disturbed you." Raelen repeated, shuffling his feet and looking away, his pale amber eyes adverted to the ground, trying to preoccupy himself with something else beside her unnerving aura. When he forced his eyes back to her face he kept his head low.
"S-so.. uh... how have you been?" He asked. He knew he should have left. He knew it he knew it. But he just couldn't find the strength to use his flight sense, since his fight had left him long ago.

Parlae was nervous as well, though for a much different reason. She wasnt quite sure how she felt about the previous evening, part of her was giddy from it, the other part thought it was a mistake. The one eyed minx should never have allowed her hormones to rule her mind, or her heart. If Nara found out about this it could be horribly bad. Parlae knew that her Alpha could act several different ways. One she could careless, two she could kick her out, or three she could kill her. The thoughts unnerved Parlae, for she had grown to like her life here in Souse. "Why is that?" Parlae questioned Raelen, curious to why the younger male was so troubled in her presence. She knew her appearence was ghastly, but was that the reason he truly was so nervous. Or perhaps it had more to do with her temperment than anything else?
"You did not disturb me, I was already awake.. and groo.." she cut herself with a snort, he did not need the details of her morning routine. He was a mere pup, and really had no authority to question the dark minx. Even if she truly was not granted a higher rank, she did command more respect than most. Her eye watched the brute cautiously as she pondered her thoughts. The brute's nose seemed to be doing quite a bit of scenting which caused a low growl to escape. He was being a little too nosey for his own good, and she intended on informing him of that. "What are you scenting?" she asked flicking and aud as she stared at him. Her one eye almost appearing to see right through him.
"I have been well, how about you?" she asked curiously. Her banner lowering slightly, but still remaining dominant over the younger brute. As she watched her behavior, she told herself then that she would instill confidence in her pups, if she did indeed have them growing inside her. That was something she would not know for atleast a moon or two.

If possible, Raelen hunkered closer to the ground, his ears going a bit flatter against his skull, but his nose twitching involuntarily as her scent bombarded him. What was so different about it? He was so engrossed in finding out why she smelt so different that he hardly registered her words, or questions more like.
"Why is that?"
The dark wolf blinked, looking up at her, pale lemony orbs gazing up into her own sharp one. What was it about her that unnerved him so. Well for one it was her eye, I mean, who wasn't freaked out by that? Except for Haze of course, he seemed perfectly unaffected by the empty socket dancing on her smooth, dark face. But that couldn't be the only thing, could it? I mean, he had to have a more legitimate reason for being so frightened of her right? Maybe it was just her aura... maybe.
"I-I don't know... your.. uh.. eye I guess?" He said but he should have added "Or lack thereof." But deciding he liked his face the way it looked at the moment he left that out. God he had a big mouth. He swore Wapi was shaking his head at the moment, the overly serious guardian had warned him about his mouth and where it would land him. But he never seemed to be able to control it properly.
"What are you scenting?"
His eyes widened a bit and his nose twitched again. Ugh! If she didn't smell so much like something else beside herself then this wouldn't be a problem! But it was bugging him! Why did she smell so different?
"I'm sorry! I didn't mean.. I- you just smell..." He cut off, wait... he knew that scent. He knew it! But where was it from? Where?! Ugh, once again, if she didn't smell so much like Haze then-! His eyes got even larger as his brows furrowed and he sniffed again. "...like Haze." He finished, not realizing that she might not like this. He almost blocked out her response to his question and barely uttered a response of his own.
"Fine." He murmured, all feeling of fear temporarily lost as he tried to sort out why she smelt so much like Haze.

When he stated that her one, long golden orb frightened him she lowered her crania with a smile. He had no need to fear her, Parlae may look the part, but deep down she was a gentle soul. A more kind wolf could not be found once you were indeed in her graces. "No need to fear it, or me. I mean you no harm." Parlae stated hoping her words would put the young male wolf at ease. If anything she wanted allies in this pack not enemies. Haze had proven to be a protective friend, Siyl she had not spent much time with, Raelen seemed to be skittish but harmless enough, Nara was kind, Dragula was derreanged, and well she had yet to meet Hali. Though with the amount of time their white alphess spent with him, he must be something special/ Parlae became more critical however when she saw his noise moving once more. The fact he was trying so hard to figure out the smell troubled her.
When he began to stutter out his words, her demeanor became aggressive once more. "Have some confidence boy." she said almost as if she was scolding a young puppy. Raelen would have mad an even better addition to this pack if he didnt become so damn nerv ous. If he was this nervous with a packmate, Parlae couldnt imagine what he was like with a sranger. When he finally did get his words out, and stated that she smelled like Haze, she growled lowly. Parlae would silence that thought before it got vocalized She closed the distance between them her far more aggressive body attempting to intimidate him. "You are foolish to even state that thought. You think I would let that sarcastic asshole near me?" her words dripped like poison. "You best be wise to keep you thoughts to yourself, and you mouth shut. Better yet, get your sniffer checked." she said with a lowly snarl. She was going to make sure no one had any doubts about her, or better yet, didnt think her and Haze had any special type of commitment to each other. As far as the one eyed beauty was concerned, Haze was nothing more than a mistake she intended on denying, and forgetting.

"No need to fear it, or me. I mean you no harm."
At the gentle sound in her tone he relaxed slightly, the tremble in his legs subsiding. But at his stuttered response she growled again and his relaxed state of mind vanished into thin air, just like that, and he was once again on the defensive. If only he could find ways to keep his big yap shut, then maybe he wouldn't get himself into trouble so much. Especially with his own pack-mates, who he found he was deathly afraid of. Except Nara, she seemed pretty nice, even though he had never had really any interaction with her. Dragula was a nut. The new guy seemed alright. And everyone else he didn't know what to make of.
"You are foolish to even state that thought. You think I would let that sarcastic asshole near me?" her words dripped like poison. "You best be wise to keep you thoughts to yourself, and you mouth shut. Better yet, get your sniffer checked."
Raelen whimpered lowly and almost completely flattened himself to the ground, scared of his mind when her snarl reached his ears. Hopefully she wasn't going to hurt him, hopefully. He doubted that only having one eye prohibited her from being able to kick his ass, or rip him to shreds, whatever suits her fancy.
"Sorry. I didn't mean to offend.. " He whined, feeling truly pathetic. Gosh. He couldn't stand up for himself even if he wanted to, he was just too skittish and too afraid of where it might land him if he back talked to a particularly prickly wolf. He really should ask Nara if he can be demoted to a lower position than hunter.
"So you uh... like to hunt?" He asked, trying to swivel the conversation to a place where he could actually contribute. He didn't like the tense atmosphere between them, especially when her scent was nearly choking him because of how close she was.

When the brute whimpered she snarled. She could not stand this wolfs inability to hold his own. What good was he to Souse if he was afraid of a one eyed, no banner, pack mate? How was he to have any chance of gaining respect with in his pack if he coward before everyone who even raised their voice. Her eye watched him with disgust, he wasnt even worth the time to work with. Parlae found him to be unworthy of any pity or help. If he was going to be a coward she was going to turn her back on him. The one eyed minx always found it hard to respect, protect, and care for a packmate that she felt would not have her back. His behavior now made it clear that Raelen would not defend her if she needed him, and thus she would not waste her time with him. She laughed, somewhat of a cackle when he said he did not mean to offend. "Trust me, you did not offend me. I'm just advising you to keep that sniffer to yourself, and keep your lies to yourself." she said reffering to his comment of her smelling like Haze. She did not want this male going around speaking about this incident. She was sure that he was scared enough now, to not attempt to even mention her name.
When he asked her if she liked to hunt, she snorted, and walked back to her rock. Her eye watched him as she lowered her frame to the warm rock. The brute seemed to be trying to make conversation with her, most likley to get himself to relax once more. "No." she said simply, her face looking directly at him. Parlae was coming off as rather mean, but honestly it was just the freaking hormones, and the fact she was mad about what she had done the day before. "My one eye limits my hunting ability..." she said her words softer, and showing a little weakness in admiting she could not hunt well. She could fight that was for sure, but chasing prey just wasnt a strength of her.

Raelen clearly saw the disgust glittering in her one, brilliantly golden eye. But he had seen that look so many times before it almost did nothing to him, though he felt the traditional pang. Great. Another wolf that wouldn't give a rat's ass about him because he was so pathetic. He really needed to look into going out and trying to change himself, not something he was likely to do but it was worth a shot right? Maybe he could talk to Nara or something, nah, he could just stay on nice, safe, packgrounds and try his best to get over his fear of other wolves.
He visibly relaxed when she moved away and wasn't all in his bubble, snarling and growling at him. He watched her carefully as she gracefully pounced back up onto the rock and lied down, her eye turned back toward him once more as she spoke.
"No."
"My one eye limits my hunting ability..."
"Oh. I'm sorry." He said loud enough for her to hear. He seemed to be handing out a lot of apologies as of late but what else was he suppose to say to her? "Oh well that sucks! But you're really missing out! It's a lot of fun, trust me!" Yeah, no. Probably not going to fly by her. Maybe he should leave. Or should he stay? He'd already done enough damage to his reputation by making a complete fool of himself in front of her. She obviously wasn't going to attempt to talk to him after this, unless forced, which wasn't likely either. Positive reinforcement maybe? He didn't think she would respond well to that either, probably shoot him down or something.
"I'm sure you'd be good at it though." He added quickly and then felt like he wanted to slap himself in the face. How many more stupid things can he say to run his face into the dirt? He didn't want to test that theory. The dark wolf looked away for a moment and spotted something glittering under the glassy surface of the stream. Instantly interested he jumped to his feet and padded over to the water's edge, his tail starting to move when he spotted the traditional hard pinks of a salmon.
"Are you hungry? I can catch this salmon for you!" He asked, suddenly excited at the thought of going after a fish. Hunting seemed to be the only thrill and thing he was good at these days. He hardly ever missed his quarry and had once taken down a doe by himself. The only thing he seemed to take pride in, were his hunting skills. Fighting? Not so much, since he was a lot thinner and much more frail than most males were, which made him an easy and usually weak target. He hardly ate, though it was probably because he enjoyed catching the food more than actually eating it. He was just never really hungry it seemed and his wiry frame showed that easily.
